A: Hello Girls, my name is Kesia Welcome aka Isle of Azure from Islandkynks. I live in Central America in Honduras on a small island in the Caribbean. I have learned to not only love and cherish my own natural hair but to learn about other types and admire women with amazing natural tresses and to learn from them. 

How long have you been natural?

A: I have now been fully natural for 2 years 8 months 3 weeks.

My name is Shenay and I am from the Boston area. I am 26 years old and a single mommy of a handsome 6 year old little man. I am a social worker working with children with behavioral, psychological and emotional disabilities and absolutely love how rewarding it is. On my free time I try to relax as much as I can, but I can’t seem to sit still long enough to do so. I am just going through life, living and learning everyday! 🙂

My name is Shaneika Mclean otherwise known as Cathy and I’m 21 years old. I really love singing, dancing, painting, drawing, cooking, baking, sewing, doing photography, cosmetology and gardening. My hobbies and interests grow every year because I’m always challenging myself to do something new. My career goal is to be a successful lawyer.

I’ve been natural for one year and ten months

Why did you decide to return natural?

I decided to go back natural because I was tired of using harmful chemicals and heat in my hair to straighten it. I’ve decided to stay natural not only because I don’t want to use harmful chemicals and heat in my hair but because I absolutely love my curly hair.
